I'll try to check back in and join, maybe even without usual gang to pull wait and worry over and no more rotten skinny tires on my fixed rig I'm riding fat.* Although my OCD will likely kick in day of and I'll mount cross something.

*Hopefully just in a tire kind of way

Got a couple of miles of gravel yesterday. Forgot how much I miss riding gravel.

Here's a tip for the racer types (no purse or trophies though)...becayse of the rain (smoothes the dirt), a bit higher pavement ratio and fewer big hills this will probably be our fastest route ever. A road bike could possibly pull it off this time around. No sag vehicles though so don't come crying to me if you do run out of tubes in the middle of nowhere.

I'll just wait for Dave Matthews to flat behind me, then we can both sag in.

Fuck you for making me rethink tire choice. 38mm cross or 32mm slick?
