I need to check out the NETT and Lake Murray both in the next week or two. I'd definitely appreciate company on the NETT ride but would welcome it for Lake Murray as well. Anyone free Tues-Thurs?

Have a day to explore the NETT? Farmersvile to Pecan Gap and back maybe 40 miles. Should be able to travel light because there are a couple of small towns along the way.

That would probably make for a good Lake Murray day. I mostly want to see what kind of shape the trail is in. If we leave early you should be home by 2:00 or 3:00 if we ride the whole trail. If you need to be back sooner we can probably shorten the ride since we'll probably have a sense of overgrowth, etc.

Probably. Let me check with the Redhead and see what day would be best for her.

Kevin,
Looks like that is a little further than you thought. I have been interested exploring some of this for a little while now. 70 miles would be a bit much for me though.

If you guys go next week I might join you for a bit and turn back when I've had enough. What bike would you take for this? Gravel machine or mountain?

I may have a meeting with some NETT people tomorrow but most likely not since I haven't heard back so far. I'll let you know for sure this evening.

Looks like I'm good to go for Lake Murray tomorrow. What's a good meet up spot for you at what time? We can go in my car from there.

There is the Valero gas station just before you get on 35 near TMS, 9 am ? or earlier. I'm flexible

The earlier the better if you need to be back by 3:30.
