It'll be a scorcher, but the ride is on.

Grilling to follow.

Yup.

Might be shaking down a bikepacking rig for a fast trip next week.
Or I might just ride a bike. Depends.

Surface is dry and dusty

East side (phase 1) has minimal elevation with swoopy dips, mostly shaded. West side (phase 2) has a long gentle climb with view of the downtown skyline. I usually get there a tad late, and quit early to fire up the grill. I'll make a lap of Phase 1, 2, then the remaining portion of 1, and it comes to 9+mi.

I'll bet Mr Clean has better gps data for you.

Sounds good, I'm looking for something different, although I'm not sure if leaving work at 5 from lewisville would be a good idea.

Likely to be slightly less dusty/ very nice riding if it got a little of the rain last night. Anyone know?

I have no idea. But, seeing how I got screwed out of last nights rain, I'm not getting my hopes high.
