Trinity Trails, Stock Yards, Bridges, Sansom, Gateway and Sundance Square!!! Rain or shine, come one come all!

Is it an urban ride, is it mountain bike ride, is it cyclocross or road?

Yes!!! and no license is needed to enjoy this adventure.

Every bike will be the wrong bike at some point in the mix but every bike will be fun the entire time. This ride is a very unique mix of urban streets, riverside cycling paths, mountain bike trails and more. The route begins and ends in down town Fort Worth/Sundance Square, it then meanders through the Trinity Trails system to Sansom Park and the Sansom Park montain bike trail. From there we take a short urban jaunt to another leg of the Trinity Trails on into the historic Fort Worth Stock Yards. Another urban excursion takes us to our final leg of the Trinity Trails and on into the Gateway Park mountain bike trails. Everyone then follows the Trinity Trails one final time from Gateway Park and back to Sundance Square.

The route is a bit less than 40 miles of streets and Trinity Trails. Mountain bike loops would be additional to that mileage. All sections are optional, this is not a race. For those wondering, this is NOT the Superman.

Stopping and sight seeing is highly encouraged and bonus points will be awarded to the team who can hit the most pubs along the way. We will provide a map in the near future with recommended "check points" included. Let's all get on our bikes and have fun that day.

Personal choice. Ride as much or as little of Sansom as you want on whatever bike you prefer. Check with Dromgoole and see which direction he's leaning. It's an accomplishment either way if you do the whole thing and all the singletrack.

This is a rain or shine event. Current forecast has rain chances at 40%. Obviously we won't be doing singletrack if the trails are muddy but the rest of the route should be fine if wet.
