It's more than Cyclocross, it's more than Cross Country, it's Double Cross.

We'll be putting on a weekly series Thursday nights starting 10/24. There will be a free warm up ride 10/17. Bring your own lights. Categories will be broken down by mtb or cx bikes.

More details soon but there will be a sweet dawg deal in place.

I understand. Swing on by any week that it might fit into your schedule. We'll cut you the East of 75 deal. Don't forget, its an easy train ride.

What is the train schedule headed back towards Dallas and when are the races over?

8:35, 9:20 and 11:20 from MedPark. We aren't sure of the timings yet. I know we will have an early session of some sort that would be done in plenty of time for the 9:20 and probably the 8:35. Everything would be done in time for the 11:20 for sure.

If we can start the "feature" by 7:15 each week the 9:20 is probably do-able but I would have to defer a firm answer until Zoe finishes her workout program for the series.

Yeah... dogs and other responsibilites prevent that from happening... but if you ever come closer this way... IN!

We're hoping for multiple venues for the January session. Have to make sure the concept is successful first.

Here's the main course layout. We may do variations of it week to week but this is a fun mix for a broad workout.

Free introductory session this week. We will go over the course variations, workout structure, etc. Susan Dean will be on site for some preride tips. We may do a TT of the course for benchmark purposes depending on conditions and number of attendees.

The intro session as well as the weekly series will be all weather events. We will have alternate routes in place for almost any conditions.

Got it. So are you using the Corinth trail for parts of the race? Is that still there?

Yes and yes. It's a cool trail. Evidently they've added a lot to it if you haven't been there in a while. We obviously won't use those sections if muddy though.

Bring your bikes and plan to ride some trail Thursday night. I checked the trail out today and I'm almost positive some, if not all of it will be ridable tomorrow evening.

I'm thinking we'll have a decent sized group and should have a pretty good time. Tomorrow night is a free intro session mainly just to get familiar with the course and the overall concept.

6:30 pm Corinth Community Park.
