First off, thank you for your interest in this ride. We appreciate your support tremendously! We will have a riders' meeting immediately before the start but this memo should cover most of the important details. Feel free to contact us by email or on our Facebook page if you need additional information.

1.A focus of this ride is to support the Denton Community Food Center. Proceeds from each entry will go to a cash donation but please remember to bring a food donation on the day of the event. Suggested items include:

Basic Canned items such as:
Green Beans, Corn, Peas or other vegetables
Beans (all varieties, Baked, Brown, Pinto, etc)
Fruit (peaches, pears, mixed or cocktail)
Tomato & Spaghetti sauces or whole Tomatoes
Soup (all varieties to eat or cook with)
Tuna, Chicken, Ham, Spam meat products
Pasta in Meat (SpaghettiO's, etc)
Boxed or Dry Products such as:
Macaroni & Cheese dinners or Hamburger Helper
Potato Casseroles & other vegetable mixes
Pasta like Spaghetti, Fettuccine, etc
Dried Beans or Rice (brown or white)
Powered Milk
Other Food items such as:
Breakfast Cereal or Oatmeal
Bottled Fruit Juices (Apple, Orange, Mixed)
Peanut Butter, Boxed Crackers
Cooking Oils, Coffee, Sugar and Flour

2. The ride will start from the Corinth Community Park soccer complex located on Corinth Parkway. There is plenty of parking there but we must leave by midnight. You can also park in Denton near the square and ride your bike down the paved trail to Corinth (about 6 miles) if you think you may be spending extra time in the Square. Also, there are 2 train stops along the trail just north of the staging area if you wish to take the train up and back. You will be responsible for checking train schedules but I believe the last one leaves Denton 10:30 or 11:00.

3. The ride will start with 1 lap of singletrack at the staging area and then proceed to paved and dirt road sections. The singletrack will be completed in daylight but lights are required for the rest of the route, You will be able to swing by the staging area after the singletrack and before going out on the roads. The course will be marked but we always recommend utilizing the gps files and/or cue sheets available from the website and our Spinistry app (by Friday morning at the latest). Riders are free to do a night time lap of the singletrack at the end of the ride if they choose AND as long as they are out of the parking lot by midnight.

4.There will not be any SAG support on the course. We will have water stations available for both the short route and the long route but we will not be available to pick up stranded riders. Please make your own arrangements should you break down or get lost. This ride is mostly with the confines of "civilization" so 911 for true emergencies should get fairly quick response.

5. This is a fun ride NOT a race. We will not be logging any times or finishing orders on this one. Quite frankly, we will try our best to hold up riders at our pit stops on Hickory Street in Denton.

6. Our official pub stop will be at Cool Beans Bar and Grill on Hickory before the square. They have a large Patio surrounded by an iron fence which makes for a good place to lock bikes. They know we are coming and are welcoming us. There are plenty of other joints in the area too and folks are welcome to stop wherever they choose.

7. Please do obey all traffic rules and guidelines and be courteous to all vehicles, pedestrians and any law enforcement officials you may stumble across.

8. More details may be published at any time. Keep an eye on our Facebook page for the latest and greatest.

Thank you. 100% of those go to the Food Center since there is no overhead/insurance involved.

You guys are quite awesome. We couldn't fit all the food in one truck. A few stumbles during the event since we had a much bigger crowd than expected but we'll learn from them. Thank you.

Wicked fun! That beer stop was just right... not too far from the end! But just far enough to ride off any buzz before driving home!
