24 Hours in the Old Pueblo is attached to a food drive for the Globe/Miami area east of the venue. Normal entrance fees plus everyone has to show up with 2 canned goods per person when they drive into the venue to help feed the hungry.*

Happy to volunteer the charity I'm involved with. Spent all day yesterday with them in Ft. Forth. Once a month in Dallas and Ft. Worth. We're working on the website, which sucks right now, but they're actually getting pretty big. Although I suspect that's a cause that wouldn't go over very well in these parts.** So never mind.

Feeding the hungry always shows a kind heart. Don't change a thing. Normal entry fee. Make everyone bring 3 canned food or bag of rice or whatever on top of it. I always thought that was good thing. And your engagement level won't be too big, just drop off a load of welcome food for the hungry.

*I just checked it online and the charity has changed. Now it's normal entrance fees plus $10 to the charity of the day.
**If anybody has personal donatables or through your business let me know, I'm happy to come get them.

Monstercross for Meals? Benefitting the Denton Community Food Center, entry fee plus bring a designated food donation.

I'm trying to figure out the timing for this thing. UNT has a football game that day (starts at 3pm). Current route goes up Bonnie Brae to Hickory right past the stadium/campus. How much of a mess is it after a game and how long does it take it to clear?

It's a pretty big mess, honestly. People actually go to the games now.

You think folks would be out of there by 8pm for the most part?

Dev and I were looking at the route. Take Corbin north to Airport, then take Jim Christal/Oak east into town.

Then you'll bypass the cluster.

That could work. I like Bonnie Brae south of the stadium but it ain't worth it to deal with that mess.
