Not real scoring on this one since it wasn't a race but Jordan Chaney was the firs to complete all of the riding sections. Everything after that is just playing with the software.

How did you like it?

didn't really get to use it like we planned to. a large chunk of the riders were bailing in dallas and not coming back to funkytown so there wasn't any way to record times for them. the timing aspect works well but registration comes up short on a couple of major points so we'll most likely be sticking with bikereg after the red river riot. i need to get into the editing more before i'm 100% sold on it for timing. at the moment it seems like it's pain in the ass to fix a mistake compared to what i'm used to.

Yeah, we ran into a mistake where I double tapped a person crossing a lap once, and it took her quite a while to figure out how to fix it. Once she did, it was pretty fluid, though.

I agree on the reg. It's just too easy to use bikereg and then import the registrants from the spreadsheet.

I likes the levees so I understood that part no problem. The levees were awesome. Just put your head down and go.

A clear description on what would officially be trail ridden at the trails would save confusion. Or a volunteer at the trail head just saying do the blue loop etc. we seemed to do to much at the Arlington trail. Got passed by people we never saw.

Maybe enter LbH at the old trail head on cali crossing and do that side to Wildwood. That would make that part real clear.

The first trail FW trail was great. Really enjoyed that.

I was amazed the whole way.good road climbs, Campion trail, everything.

I knew we'd never be able to get everyone to ride the same stuff at the different trails. Arlington doesn't let us mark River Legacy at all so the idea was for folks to ride whatever they wanted. It was meant to be an adventure not a race. I thought LBH was self explanatory but maybe I know the trail too well? I doubt I've ridden it a dozen times over the years but I guess it's enough.

I tried to explain the "concept" on the registration page and follow up emails but I know it's complicated and now we have a better sense of where the traps are. Next year it will still be an adventure, not a race but we will make it even more adventurous. We will also do a better job of communicating things on the front end and making sure everyone gets it before we roll.

Ric, this is the guy I was telling you about. First time on mountain bike. Said he was a runner. He was plum wore out at around mile 65 (Back side of levee section), no life left him what so ever, rode with Susan and Charity through the whole levee loop, I pushed him some to keep up with the girls and we waited on him some. Lost him at the end. Some other dude started riding with him. He had been riding with arch of foot on pedal (Complaining of his knee hurting). Until I noticed and told him where to put his feet. See in pic

Yeah, the group I was with saw this kid at the train station. He was doing good, said he rode Big Cedar two days before this race with the same gear.
