Sorry for the shitty attitude at the finish, I had a rough finishing 20 miles, wind didn't help any. First time I've ever stopped on a course like that and just sat there for a few minutes not wanting to do anything. You don't know what true suffering is until you've battled a turtlehead on bumpy gravel roads for over 50 miles.

To top it all off, my strava is jacked up and won't upload the ride in all its glory. THIS IS THE WORST DAY EVER

As usual SPINISTRY killed it with a great event. Thanks Kevin and family for sure. So who do I owe an open mouth kiss to?

Did the wind blow Fraziers beard all in your face and made you get lost?

No. It was a nice day for a ride and I wanted it to last as long as possible.

More kudos to Kevin and crew for an awesome event. And a day of fucking misery.

I got out to halfway feeling OK but then my legs gave out. I was walking the hills and questioning my choice of the SS for that ride, though I often ride it on terrain similar to that course. I am sorry for quitting but there just wasn't anything left. I was nearly ready to just head south on 907 when the sag came by so I went for it. As it turned out I was only a few miles behind the remaining riders, that surprised me, but not as much as Erica coming around a corner and going by when I thought for sure I was the last bike out there.

I will be back, I haven't blown up like that in years, and the next time I'll make it to the finish under my own steam. The venison was tasty, though
