Buy my shit this week and get a great ride, a cool tshirt, damned good beer & bbq. I just wanna make sure there's enough to go around. I'm only ordering a few extra shirts outside of who signs up this week. I've got a feeling we'll have a bunch of last minute/day of sign ups so I'm certain there won't be enough shirts to go around. Wanna be sure to have enough food and beer too. Late registrations go to the bottom of the totem pole for each.

I really need to work on my photo skilz. Sucks to have something engrave that well and then not be able to show it in a picture. Oh well.. y'all enjoy the race. I'll be watching what little snow we have melt. Suppose to be in the 70s here tomorrow.... talk about conflicted feelings ](*,)

Macro setting and a still hand.

Nice to see in-house work.

Final scout today to nail down the routes. It's damned gorgeous up there right now. Tweaked the routes considerably from last year. They still hit all of the major features from last year and hopefully bypass some of the less interesting sections while picking up some new scenery I hope you'll like. I think it's gonna be better but don't be afraid to tell me if it ain't. Windmills are still in the morning.

Bikeroutetoaster.com maps seem to work best for GPS import

Short Route 36 miles (gravel primer) http://www.bikeroutetoaster.com/Course. ... rse=372085

Morning 70 (main route) http://www.bikeroutetoaster.com/Course. ... rse=372080

Afternoon 57 (for folks who do the whole Riot) http://www.bikeroutetoaster.com/Course. ... rse=372083

Ride with GPS Maps are better online and have better cue sheets. Some people have had success with GPS import here too.

Short Route http://ridewithgps.com/routes/1044027

Morning 70 http://ridewithgps.com/routes/1043988

Afternoon 57 http://ridewithgps.com/routes/1044007

Course will definitely be marked. GPS is not a requirement by any means. It always makes for a good backup in case you miss a turn or if locals move signage. This year's course is "narrower" and uses more doubling back on some key roads so you'll probably see other riders coming and going.

More Sponsorzzzzzz! Bryan Fawley's Crazy Water King of the Mountain challenge is back with prizes for Men/Women/SS details soon!

Yes, there's a new "mountain" for y'all to climb. Probably the hardest we've ever had.
