Those Re the guys that used to work at specialized. Specialized sued them over that bike. They lost and had to pay specialized $1.

The part they "lost" was about one of them violating the no compete on his contract by starting his own company too soon. There never really was an issue around the bike designs.

Right. The point of my post was that specialized went after them and it was interesting story. I was not trying to tear them down at all.

Price goes up next week. Get in while it's still cheap. We will have Volagis there for display, All City, Orbea, Redline possibly and working on a few others if possible. Kegs of Ska and bbq. Camping is included in admission price and a few twin beds are available by reservation. I'm seriously considering flipping the routes this year where last year's afternoon route becomes this year's morning route so folks can see what they missed last year.

There will be a short 30ish mile route as well because we have had demand for that. I promise that we will make sure there is still beer and bbq left for the folks that do the longer routes.

We will have a 37ish mile route available for folks who want to get a taste of the Riot. It should look something like this.
http://ridewithgps.com/routes/1000034

We will be reversing the routes this year so folks can see what they missed last year if they didn't do the whole deal.

You a big Bach fan? I have to be in a certain mood to enjoy Classical.

Have some cool stuff to give away to participants. Thanks to our sponsors (so far), Mad Duck Cyclery, Ska Brewing, Trinity Bicycles, Legacy Merch and most recently Oak Cliff Bicycle Co. We may have another sponsor or two to announce in the coming days.

Assorted T-shirts and logo swag
Beer
Syllamos Revenge entry
Nixon Sports Watch
Revelate Designs frame bag
Kuat Sherpa hitch rack

and other assorted goodies that might get thrown into the mix.

We should also have a good assortment of cool bikes on display. Orbea, Salsa, All City, Nuvinci, Vologi, Pashley and who knows what else might show up?

Early bird registration is over so price just went up $20. Poverty sticken bike shop employees can use coupon code wrench and get that $20 back. Dorbites can use coupon code dorba member and save $10. Funky town folks who are members use fwmba to save the $10. Or keep on eye on the Spinistry facebook page for other coupon codes.

Beds are pretty much gone but plenty of camping still available.

Drove the east side of the route and everything looks great there. Flowers are just starting to pop up there so they should be almost perfect in a couple of weeks. Will try to check the west as well but don't expect there to be any issues. Portajohns are lined up so we don't have to worry about everyone trying to take their morning dump in one bathroom. Trying for a little bit different tshirt design this time around. Hope to have a mock up soon. Matt needs me to order shirts by the end of this week, so day of registrations probably won't get shirts but we'll see what we can work out.
