What're these roads going to be like? More Riot or more Massacre-like? And hills?

I know what the first Riot was like, but missed the second. I rode it on a geared 26" mtb bike which I don't have any more, bit of a chore but the muddy conditions didn't help. I know what the Massacre roads are like, did that on SS with 700x34c tires -- 45x15 was brutal.

I pretty much only have (3) single speed bikes these days regardless of tire size. Don't think my geared road bike will fit over 25c at best. The boy wants to do this again, but his choices are 26" mtb, one geared one SS -- he'd be too slow for me to wait on. Have a steel roadie he can ride that'll fit larger tires, but that'll be SS. And I don't think the geared road bike that'll fit him will fit fat tires one. Or maybe it won't matter?

What're the roads like?

Pretty much the same roads as the first Riot. All the same from the second one. How tall is he now? Might have a geared CX he can use.

5' 5 1/2" barefoot.

Truth be told I have a geared 29er I could ride but that's just not long smooth road mile friendly, so I'll be riding single speed on a bike that is. He may want to do the same but I bet he'd enjoy the CX bike if it'll fit. I'll be in touch. Thanks.

We'll have these available for demos if you are making a weekend of it. Trying to line up some other cool rides as well. Hope to hear back from Ska in the next day or so but will have a backup just in case. We'll have after ride food available too.

You might be able to snag one for for the first 60 mile loop. We wouldn't want it out all day because nobody else would be able to check 'em out.

you already know that i fuck anything that moves. what's wrong with that bike? A carbon roadie that can fit almost endless tire sizes? just seems like a good idea to me for those that don't give a fuck about ascending to cat 3 glory. give me that thing over one of those faggoty specialized tarmacs or orbeas with rim brakes. at 2800.00 or whatever it is, it's half the price of one those thoroughbred racers that can't stop when it's raining.

and by the way, fucking chicks is really more like liking tri-bikes.

Those Re the guys that used to work at specialized. Specialized sued them over that bike. They lost and had to pay specialized $1.
