The Dorba Boulder race is postponed due to the weather again but rain only makes the gravel that much more fun. Actually, very little rain out on the course so far so it's perfect right now. This course will be good even in a monsoon. All hard roads so no goop or peanut butter mud even in flooding. Come on in!

So far I've got $150 I have to give away on Sunday. Break out the beater SS and have a grand time. We'll take $20 day of but show up early for paperwork or you can still sign up through tonight for $15 when you use coupon code member.

Yes, this is a rain or shine event! It looks like we are the only event in the state still on for this weekend. Please bring a $20 bill for registration by 10am Sunday morning. Don’t forget to change your clocks tonight.

The dirt road sections of this course are “hard” roads so there won’t be any bogs to grind through but you and your bike will get dirty. We will meet at Carson Elementary School in Decatur for parking and registration, then ride our bike up the road aways to the start/finish line on the other side of the railroad tracks.

Carson Elementary School
2100 Bus 81/287 South
Decatur, Texas 76234

You foos missed a good ride. Damp and chilly while we were signing up and getting ready but the rains stopped 20 minutes before we started rolling. Road was in great shape and only had one water crossing. You'll get another chance 5/13 and we will have at least a CX frame to give away and probably a complete bike.

The benchmark for 29.5 miles is 1:39:19 currently. We will be doing that TT on a regular basis if you've got the balls for it.

Our podium: Shannon Wyatt (2) Steve Price (1) Corey Wake (3).

Part deux will be Sunday 5/13. Cash and a bike for prizes most likely.

Fat bike category to be included if we have more than one.

Oh man this is dangerous, how is fat bike category defined?
- tire size
- bike geometry
- other

I can run 2.1's on my CX bike or I can run 25mm 700c road tires on my Scalpel. I'm just sayin, you get every combination of bike at these things!
