I could use a few volunteers on this one as my usual Spinistry crew is likely to be in FL that day. Volunteers will be eligible for the random participant drawing as well as any swag that gets thrown into the mix. Will only need 3 or 4 folks for various duties but they wouldn't be able to ride and volunteer. We'd also need them for the full duration of the event most likely. PM me if you are interested.

Will need a flag person to direct people at the County Line Rd to Stony Rd turn
Will need flag person/bib marker at the turn around point
Will need 2 people to help with timing and registration
Maybe could use a sweep vehicle but most likely will have that taken care out of the participants pool

Can we use a paintball gun to mark racers at the turnaround point?
I see that being much more efficient than makeing them stop for a mark :butthead:

Registration is now open. 1/3 of entry fees go to the fastest time, 1/3 of entry fees go to random participant who completes the course. Might be a good opportunity for somebody. Strong roadie types are likely to be at Rouge Roubaix and/or Reveille Roubaix. We'll probably limit the field to 90 entries with 60 second spacing between riders. That will give us 90 minutes max start line time and $400-$500 purses.

Probably changing the date since Dorba Boulder race is being shifted to the same weekend. Stay tuned.

We're going to keep the original 3/11 date. We'll probably add another TT for 5/13.

I know this is broner-in-cheek, but just so we're clear, the Spinistry is at the top of the short list of dorba-friendly promoters who "get it."

Map to parking at Carson Elementary and the start/finish a bit down the road and across the tracks.

We will be running rain or shine. First rider leaves at 11am with one minute intervals, no drafting allowed. Try to be there by 10 am for bib assignments and waiver signatures. 1/3 of entry fees to fastest time overall and 1/3 to randomly drawn participant.
