For all of you who are Dorba members but don't go to Dorba web site often.

As ya'll know, if you didn't, the elections are on Thursday Dec. 8th, 2011. As some of you know my wife Susan, is running for President of Dorba. I personally think it's going to be a very tight race and need your help. I would like to reach out to my DD brotha's and sista's and ask for a vote for Susan Dean for president.

For those that cannot make the meeting to vote, you can mail in your ballot. Please download and fill it out and mail it in now, it must be at the PO Box no later than Dec 5th. You cannot email it in, so you will have to buy a stamp and one of them paper containers (envelope) and actually mail it in the US postal service.
Thank you for your support!

Ballot download: http://www.dorba.org/sites/default/file ... 2011_0.pdf

You can view each of the candidates statements who are running here: http://www.dorba.org/forum/dorba-forums ... nformation

Nobody is saying anything in those statements. Are there any "issues" that any of the candidates intend to address? Is there a reason to pick one candidate over another besides familiarity?

Shadow and Erich S are running against each other for Vice Prez of trails. Other board positions are in place for another year.

Appearantly according to this qoute: "I can’t express enough that we don’t need a trail builder for this critical spot in the ongoing trail advocacy that dobra is based on, but an excellent communicator both with internet technology and in person, someone that is clean cut and gives an excellent image of dorba."
I'm not qualified and sloppy in appearance......LOL.
If you have questions your suppost to Pm, e-mail, call candidate to discuss.....Like thats going to happen....LOL. As you guys know...everything I do trail wise is done with riders and racers in mind...and I always ask for input/thoughts.

Some things I'd like to see.....survey of what racers in each class like/dislike. (possibly racer repesentatives like Tmbra has)
Before next years election, an question and answer thread where candidates can address issues. Questions would be posted......candidatates answer and send them in...and all answers are posted at same time. this way no candidate can read others answers before submitting thiers...very fair.
Separate Race Director for Fall, 6Hr, Tmbra races......no one person should have to handle all....plus this way they can race the series they aren't running. I have tons of ideas.....I am by nature a problem solver.......I hate the word "Can't" or the phrase "It won't work" (especially when "it" has never been tried before)
