I need to nail down a date for the Xmas party so if you plan on attending chime in.
Don't wait until the date is set and the complain about how it conflicts with your sewing circle Christmas gift exchange. Tentatively Looking at Dec. 10th.

I thought you were referring to more liklihood of getting busted for driving drunk. New Year's eve isn't anywhere near the most dangerous driving day of the year. More law enforcement on the roads and people generally prepare to get home properly. Most weekends in December and all Holidays are more dangerous than 12/31.
