While I appreciate Dana's invite, it's a bit further than I want to go for this trip.
I'm going try to book something for the 13th - 14th at IDB for the boy and I this afternoon. I'll post campsite information after. If you can make it, please come on!

It's 2 miles further from my house in Frisco per Google. I'll by your extra gas next time :) Y'all have fun!

I get 31 miles vs. 62 miles ...

IDB: http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&source= ... 08804&z=11
Have a good weekend, tho!

I don't know. I'm guessing first come, first serve. I didn't request a specific site.

My Google decided to choose JB and not IDB :(
Kind of wish I booked Tyler SP since the race is out there that weekend.

I'm thinking we're still in. How many campsites do we have? 2 should be plenty, and we'll just try to snag adjacent ones.

Historically when we bike camp at Hawthorne in the late fall or winter, we have that entire area to ourselves because its strictly semi-primitive, with water only, and the water is a good distance away.

Soooooooooo, we should be good.

Headcount?

Los +1
Chop +1
Johnny +1
Bill +1
Blazer +1
Punk +2-3
Brad +1

Based on this, I'm still thinking only 2 campsites necessary.

This, but I will call the Ranger station the Friday to see if I can nail down #13

They have a 2 tent per site cap but hard to say if they enforce it in non peak season...

Site #11 can handle at least 4 tents...

I got one, I think Bill got 1 and perhaps Blazer. So, atleast 2 maybe 3 sites so far.

Yep grill grates attached to the fire rings, I may bring my 18" Weber kettle though.
