Not that I know him personally, but I'd have guessed him a bit too Type A for SSWC.
Does he have any tattoos?

That place is popular and conformist.

And it likely involves TMBRA's management... out.

TMBRA and SSWC are at opposite ends of the spectrum in my mind. I hope it stays that way.

But if SSCW happens within reasonable driving distance of me again, I'm there.

"don't even" <> "have never"

And it's not hate, just recognizing the difference.

While yes it would be cool....Texas has tons of cool places to hold SSWC. Camp Eagle...well......maybe not as it is a "christan Camp".....LOL. And the people who run SSWC probably do not need Tmbras help.....not that they wouldn't be forced to use it........sadly.

They should do it in Waco.

Waco is great and closer, but Lance's place is really a perfect venue for a big event like SSWC.

The trail is not long enough, so really it's not. It's good for an xc race but not for sswc. Course has to be able to support several hundred racers in a mass start not to mention that most SSWC races are over 30 miles long thus.. multiple laps with that many people is a recipe for disaster. There really is not a trail in texas, outside of terlingua or el paso, that could support such an event. Well there is one other but it does not have the infrastructure to support the rest of the event

Go to a SSWC then you will realize that it's a much larger event than you can imagine.
