Hey, in case you haven't heard, we're gonna put on some more XC mountain bike races here at home!

Yup, we have a nice lil' series lined up and is as follows:

August 22 - OCNP
September 12 - Sansom (FWMBA)
October 9 - Big Cedar (Saturday Race)
October 31 - RCP

November 14 - Rain date

Stay tuned for more info.

PS. Right now Bobby hasn't decided if he's going to have the races scored individually or as a series, so feel free to post/pm me your opinion.

I have a feeling it will come down like this...

Prizes and points for each race (Cat 1 payouts on the spot, for example)
Points totals published at the end (bragging rights, no prizes)

I just get these feelings sometimes...

I have a feeling you should have more than one rain date lined up.

How the fuck does one figure?

It's part of the free gov health care plan, they don't want old people racing cuz it'll cost the plan too much money if you get hurt since you oldies heal longer.

I agree... I think there should be a an opportunity to put on a number and race in the metromess every dry weekend in the fall. It would take more than one team.... maybe we could get a FWMBA crew up and running?

Then it would make sense for us to have our own chip timing system as well.

my buddy in Philly is racing their series and they are using the system with the chip on the number plate. They post results after each lap. He is really impressed with it.
