They are going to continue as planned with the race. There is a 70% chance of rain, but doesn't look like a gully washer. So prepare yourself according to the weather. The course drains water pretty good. As of now we are still dry. I will keep everyone update as possible weather wise. Race Director - Andy Harris's number is 580 221-4470 for up to date weather forecast or questions.

Here is some road construction on I 35 and Exit 29 is closed. This is the Exit most take to hit the trails. Since the exit is closed there are two options.

Option 1: If you need to pick up any supplies, gas, or bite to eat.

I-35 toward Exit 31A
Take exit 31A to merge onto W Broadway St/OK-199 E toward Ardmore 1.7 miles
Turn right at S Commerce St 2.4 miles
Turn left at US-70 E 2.0 miles
Turn right at OK-77S S Follow to Dukes Forest Campground on you left.

Option 2: Fastest way
I-35 toward Exit 24
Take exit 24 to US 77S head east 2.8 miles
Left on OK 77S (stop sign by stables)
Continue on OK 77S to Dukes Forest Campground on right.

](*,) 1 inch last night, and 3 more in the forecast. ](*,)

I was thinking of trying the Xterra Red River Shootout May 16, 2010. Anyone doing that?

That looks really cool, but I'm afraid I would drown. How do you train for a swim like that?
